Working alongside a fabulous team of talented suppliers from the wedding industry, I (aka Nalini, founder at Knots & Nuptials) endeavoured to create an effortlessly elegant wedding editorial, designed to inspire couples who are seeking a spring soirée or an enchanting country house wedding. With Knots & Nuptials at the helm on all things concept and styling related, I enlisted the help of a selection of fabulous and creative suppliers, where they had the opportunity to showcase their work. Faye Amare Photography was of course on hand to capture every moment and detail, so that we are now fortunate enough to share the shoot with the world. So before I delve into the shoot, I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who was involved, it was such a pleasure to work with you all.
Morgan Davies Bridal and HRH Holmes & Son were there to bring our couple’s aisle style to life, with a selection of stunning bridal dresses that are guaranteed to capture your heart. The first gown was super on-trend, with statement puff sleeves teamed with a chic bridal headband by The Bobby Pin UK. We also used a gown that featured the most intricate bead detailing across the body and sleeves – perfect for magical spring vibes or even the festive season for an extra sparkle! The Bobby Pin UK finished the bridal looks with their stunning bridal accessories (I would just love tos have a different piece for every day of the week…). Our groom looked handsome in a blue three-piece suit with a powder blue tie that worked perfectly alongside the floral design throughout the shoot.
The lovely team at Lamberts Flower Company are renowned for their impeccable service and premium blooms, so I knew they were just perfect for our spring wedding editorial at Turvey House. From the bridal bouquet to the floral garland that lined the tablescape, handfuls of eucalyptus, delectable pale peach roses and cornflower blue blooms made an appearance. If only florals lasted forever – we all wished we could have taken them home!
For the wedding guest tables, I used softly coloured glassware to work hand in hand with the pale blue colour palette of the flowers, along with ivory chinaware and gilded cutlery courtesy of Wren Ark. Crystal candle holders and blue tapered candles from Ester & Erik added a pop of colour to the spring wedding tablescape, with modern golden chairs from Roseton Event Hire. The menus were beautifully created by Evelyn & Elliot, which were placed next to ivory iced cookies by Lesley Walter Cake Design. Lesley also worked her magic to create the most breath-taking four-tier edible masterpiece (accompanied by two one-tier cakes with metallic icing). Alternating in light blue and crisp white tiers that were edged with golden trimming, the cake topper was a blue floral delight. As a luxury wedding planner, I took the opportunity to demonstrate how your wedding cake can easily be one of the focal points of your wedding reception. I chose to display it on vintage-esque drawers that were lined with romantic flowers to add extra impact – swoon alert.
To make the most of the venue, Faye Amare Photography detailed the array of Instagram-worthy backdrops that Turvey House has to offer. We even papped the ‘newlyweds’ in a vintage car from Classic Hiring, complete with smoke bombs for that ‘just married’ feeling. From the styling and details to the sheer passion that every supplier poured into our shoot, it was a joy to screate, and I couldn’t be happier to share it with you. I hope you are feeling utterly inspired – make sure you’re following my wedding adventures over on Instagram to see more! My diary is also open for 2023 so if you are looking to discuss your dream day with a luxury wedding planner, now is your chance to get in touch!
