A luxury wedding planning company in Hertfordshire, Knots & Nuptials was created by Mrinalini Raman, who is also fondly known as Nalini to avoid any tongue-twisters! Loyal, ambitious, and undeniably creative, Nalini offers her couples the devotion and dedication of a lifelong friend, teamed with the sheer professionalism of an industry expert. Having established Party Genie, a luxury children’s party planning boutique, in 2018, Nalini is renowned for incredible, beautifully curated over-the-top occasions. She wholeheartedly cares about your wedding just as much as you do and truly honours the bond that she shares with every client she works with. You have her word; she’ll be there for you (cue the Friend’s theme tune – we apologise in advance if the soundtrack is now replaying over and over in your head) ...

FACTS ABOUT NALINI
You’ll find Nalini sipping on a black tea (or preferably a Pornstar Martini), she’s a hopeless romantic and her favourite English film is P.S I Love You. She’s also a die-hard Bollywood film fan and will find any excuse to catch up on the latest movies! Mother to her two boys, Riyaansh and Arjun, Nalini adores her family and the love that surrounds it.
Nalini grew up in Mumbai and planned her own wedding in India, spending every weekend driving from city to city with her soon-to-be husband, Ajay, to successfully plan her ‘happily ever after’. It was during this time that she developed a long-term love affair for all things wedding related – little did she know it would one day become her career, her passion and ultimately... her everything. With an extensive client facing corporate background, Nalini quickly discovered that the 9-5 life wasn’t for her and she adores the fact that as an event planner, every single day is different!
When she’s not planning epic children’s parties and jaw-droppingly beautiful weddings, Nalini can be found creating green finger magic in her garden. If she wasn’t an event planner, Nalini would work in celebrity management. “I love all the glitz and glamour, but most importantly the rush.”
